If you ever had any faith in Congressmen being intelligent, you must not have watched the hearings about the TARP. Most Congressmen just want to get on their high horse and blast the CEOs of the bank companies instead of actually getting anything done. Since their understanding of the financial world is limited, they just blast the banks on bonus payments instead of attempting to solve the problem. While this may make people feel good, it just hurts us in the long run.

While it was difficult to listen to the idiocy of most of the Congressmen, Maxine Waters is so dumb it’s just downright hilarious.

My favorite part is how she says ‘let the record state,’ like she made some brilliant move in a courtroom or something.
